This artwork is a collage of over a hundred pieces of daily self-explorations, that were made as an escape to my chaotic world. At this period in my life, while I was recovering from a fatal knee injury, I was going through hardships unfathomable by anyone I knew and when people can’t categorize you into a ‘box’ they start pressurizing you to choose. As represented by these abstractions with a mandala in the center, though my world was chaotic and didn’t make sense, it worked for me. It was a tragedy but beautiful nonetheless and this piece is the epitome of my emotional thought process in color.
