Synthwave (also known as retrowave and futuresynth) is a genre of electronic music influenced by 1980s soundtracks and video games. This genre of music has been produced and developed by various niche communities since the mid-2000s, and became more popular in the early 2010s. Its name is derived from the Synthesizer, a music producing instrument. The music produced is inspired by the science fiction, action and horror movie soundtracks of the 1980s. It has been identified with cyberpunk because of its widespread use in retrofuturism productions.

    "Soup Natsy", which was inspired by the Soup Nazi character set in an episode of Seinfeld, also matched some of the conceptually assigned features of my musician friend. These concepts are:

On the moodboard , I saw the connection of people who love synthwave with the game and Japanese culture, and I decided that the Tamagotchi (virtual doll) would the product of Soup Natsy's fans.

I saw that the character in the logo is suitable for gamification as a tamagotchi. I aimed to provide both the retro feeling and the loyalty to the brand through the character.
