HBO hosts an annual summer film festival at Bryant Park in New York City, bringing every genre of film from every generation to the New York twilight.
Creating hand mixed two-color—plus paper color—screen prints, this 16x24 poster series was designed with the origin of film in mind. Using filmstrips and reels in the image, along with fonts that compliment the retro feel, this design allows the posters images to speak for the experience of the film festival itself.
