Limbo is the first monographic publication of Paulina Otylie Surys.
The title refers to excerpts from Charles Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal (1861) and to the tales of the enigmatic and timeless fictional characters portrayed in the book. In the book, her tireless experimentation is merged together by the use of large prints and different types of paper, emphasising yet again the high artistic value of these one-off photographs.
