The Argus Cycle Tour became the Cape Town Cycle Tour. The scope of this rebrand, which embodied decades of history, was as ambitious as it was painstakingly extensive.

One phase of the project was to sort through, edit, truncate and compile, thousands of submissions from veterans past & present, in order to realise a complete historical archive of each and every iteration of the event up until that point.

Another phase was to create these print executions for the Cape Argus, using legends, to bridge not only the past with the present, but the old branding to the new.
