Last weeks i've been busy working on this Old Snake's statue (1:1). It had several holes and scratches, and needed a re-paint too. I've used Tamiya paste to fix the holes, airbrush, sponges and pencils as tools, and Vallejo colors for airbrush. I've bought a pack but definetively needed to mix some colors to obstain the colors that suited most to the originals in same cases. I'm not a professionist and i know that the result could be better, but i want to share this photos because my heart fills with joy when something so beautiful but rusted come back to life :)

PS: I didn't touch the stand, as owner's wish, apart some minor fixes.

Nelle ultime settimane ero al lavoro su questa statua di Old Snake (1:1). Aveva diversi buchi e graffi, e aveva bisogno di essere ridipinta. Ho usato la pasta Tamiya per riempire i buchi, aerografo, spugne e pennelli come attrezzi e i colori Vallejo per aerografo. Ho comprato un pacco ma ho anche dovuto miscelarli a volte per ottenere il colore che fosse più vicino all'originale. Non lo faccio per mestiere, e sono consapevole che il risultato avrebbe potuto essere migliore, ma voglio condividere queste foto perché il cuore mi si riempie di gioia quando qualcosa di bello ma rovinato ritorna in vita :)

PS: Non ho toccato il piedistallo, come richiesto dal proprietario, eccezion fatta per piccole migliorie.
