Zawadi ya Maisha Illustrations
Last year during the December holidays over a period of 2 weeks, at SirNare Animation Studios, we were tasked to come up with illustrations by MSI for a USAID online campaign dubbed "Zawadi ya Maisha" that was geared to sensitize the Kenyan public to adhere to keeping safe during the holiday season in an effort to reduce COVID 19's spread. We developed a total of 9 images.
We really enjoyed this project as it was directly influencing us and it would have a positive social impact. We also had a collaborative creative process with the client which ensured creative freedom and that the message was communicated as they envisioned it.

Sketch explorations - Developing and exploring the different possible scenarios in a storyboard format.
Inking stage - Cleaning up the sketches and adding detail. ( 9 out of the 15 scenarios were chosen to be developed further.)
Coloring and lighting stage - This is my favorite part of any project.
