From Wikipedia: "The 15-puzzle (also called Gem Puzzle, Boss Puzzle, Game of Fifteen, Mystic Square and many others) is a sliding puzzle that consists of a frame of numbered square tiles in random order with one tile missing."
To me, this game has been known by its Russian name - "Pyatnashki", which, if translated literally means something like "Fifteenies". Inspired by nostalgic feelings, my friend and I decided to make an app version of the game - he worked on the development and I made the designs.
I tried to retain the tactile appeal of the game with a rather skeumorphic approach, which, I think, in this case serves to add to the overall nostalgic experience.
