Unification

Words are fascinating.
They communicate, discuss, describe and inform.
They are timid or powerful, scary or soothing.
They create wild illusions or call a spade a spade.

Words open up new worlds.
Words are never static.
Spoken, inflection, speed and tone of the voice communicates on a visual level.
On the written page, typography reflects speech and becomes the visual voice.

‘Unification’ explores the world of words in the tradition of concrete poetry. Concrete poetry is language that communicates on a visual level: where typography is the structure of the poem, a poem to be seen rather than read.
