"Creating a single image for a festival with a broad theme and scores of artists is a difficult challenge. Nujsongsinn solved it by associating with the underlying system characteristics of the music played at the festival experimental sound art and translating it into a system of forms. He then projected the forms onto each of the perfoming artists so that each of them acquired their own logo. Each festival day thus generated its own form through the combination of the various logos, complemented with spatially organised typography. The relative simple starting point led to a strongly coherent series of posters. And the logos could also be deployed as decorative elements on the festival grounds."
