The Brief
Red Letters was a sermon series on the last words of Jesus. The series was scheduled before Easter to prepare congregants for it. I created the visual identity for this sermon series. The deliverables are posters and slides.
Challenges
Red Letters was a sermon series with seven topics. Connecting abstract concept with its bible context is challenging but fun.
The Solution
I wanted to bring the last words of Jesus closer to the congregants by infusing geometric shapes into artefacts of the crucifixion to convey the topic of the sermon each week. By combining contemporary elements (geometric shapes) and biblical context (artefacts of the crucifixion), I hoped to draw words from the past closer to modern times.
