I built a basic garage interior for my BMW CSL project about a year ago.

Since then, I've experimented with HDRI's and backplate images in my vRED renders - but always seem to find them limiting as you're tied to specific viewpoints & lighting setup.

I enjoy the more "open world" feel of a CAD environment, as you can position geometry and cameras wherever you want - and have direct, infinite control over the lighting.

So . . recently, I thought it might be fun to imagine what the exterior of the "BMW house" would look like - and use it as an opportunity to learn a bit more about texturing and lighting in vRED.

It's early days, and new territory for me - but I'm enjoying trying something a bit different - and look forward to developing my technique and assets further.
