Lǜsè Essentials is a natural skin care & cosmetic company that believes in providing luxurious skin care products made from natural ingredients. The founder wanted to find a more approachable and natural solution in a world where cosmetics and chemicals are synonymous. 

The brief was to create a brand showcasing the advantage of using natural ingredients. The aim was to communicate as a premium brand that was human & thoughtful about their customers & products. 

As the lead designer, I helped build the brand from scratch with the help of my team. Our process began with strategy, branding & visual identity. Illustration, packaging, copywriting, photography, and website design was built in order to cater to the various communication aspects of the brand. 


BRAND IDENTITY
The brand primarily denotes natural beauty & skincare. We tried to portray it with a logotype that feels elegant yet natural. The logo is a fine balance of thick & thin strokes to signify products crafted with care. The form of the logotype & the colours used denotes the premium yet natural notion of the brand. 




The illustration style is an abstract representation of the core elements/ingredients that go into each of Luse’s products. A simplified form of the elements which is easily recognisable and distinct is what makes the visual language of the brand. This is applied across the product packaging and various digital collaterals.
