I had the pleasure of working with art director Gina Tomko on Education Week's 2020 Technology Counts special report on "Coronavirus, Virtual Learning, & Beyond". Initially, the issue was about the benefits and risks of technology in the classroom in general, but then the pandemic hit, and the issue was reconfigured to better address current issues.
