“李氏家宅鸿运展”由艺术家李燎牵头，以他在深圳的自宅为展出地点，邀请他的朋友——设计师张烁作为“风水策展人”提供风水建议。在张烁指定的李燎自宅里的九个风水位置，根据风水的玄学需求和吉凶规则，由李燎邀请5位艺术家，根据他们自身对相应风水位置的叙述和规则的理解，创作了总计九件作品，放置于对应的九个“风水吉位”上。
当代人在布置居家风水的时候，像土木工程师一样计算家庭的各个吉凶位置，又像礼佛的香客一样毕恭毕敬的寻找合适的物件，摆在对应的位置，还要提醒家人千万碰不得。这一既科学又玄妙的过程，混杂了对于美好生活将信将疑又煞有介事的严肃时刻。不知道最终是因为我们在布置风水的时候触动了未知世界的编码，以至于引来了不可知的好运。还是这份对于鸿运的诚挚期待，牵引着我们向世俗所认定的好运稳步前进。

“李氏家宅鸿运展”是一个糅合了中国传统玄术和当代艺术理念的展览。在展览空间、形式和概念的切入点上都有一定的特异性。因此我们在展览的平面设计中，结合了平面方位示意、家宅空间平面图、风水师提出的九个风水吉位和艺术家的信息，将其糅合形成了一幅既传统、又现代，既复古、又当代的视觉状态。在礼品和衍生品的设计中，为了体现“居家”和“日常生活”的特征，我们通过偏时尚化的设计，强化了这些物料的日常性，以表现出展览本身多项元素杂糅的，如当代城市般——多时空、多图层——这种复合的生活状态。

“Fortune Exhibition of Li’s Family House”, initiated by artist Li Liao, is to be held in his private residence in Shenzhen. Li has invited his friends, designer Zhang Shuo, as the “geomancy (feng shui) curator” to provide him with geomancy suggestions. A total of nine pieces of art created by the five artists invited by Mr. Li in light of the demands of geomantic metaphysics and the rules of good or ill fortune, is placed correspondingly on the nine auspicious positions designated by Mr. Zhang. These artistic works express the five artists’ inspiration they have drawn from the description and rules of the corresponding auspicious positions.

“Fortune Exhibition of Li’s Family House” is an exhibition combines traditional Chinese metaphysics and contemporary art concepts. It features in various aspects such as exhibition space, form of exhibition as well as the novel design idea. We are attempting to present a visual feast entails both traditional and modern thoughts by integrating planar azimuth diagram, family house space plan, the nine auspicious positions chosen by Mr. Zhang, a Feng Shui master, with the artists’ creative inspiration. In regard to the gifts and derivatives designed, in order to reflect the characteristics of “home” and “daily life”, we choose everyday objects as our design materials and try to present them in a stylish manner, which just shows the mixed tendency of multiple elements in this exhibition. The fantastic visual effects it presents just like the composite life of living in the modern cities which are characterized by multiple interweaving space-time together with multiple layers and dimensions.
