TOKYO
Torii (shrine gates) into Yasukuni Shrine in Kudan, Tokyo.
The war dead are enshrined and immortalized here, including Class A war criminals indicted at the Tokyo War Tribunals.
Yushukan War Memorial Museum, managed by Yasukuni Shrine.
The museum takes a nationalistic and conservative approach to Japan's involvement in the war.
