The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides

One of my favorite novels, "The Virgin Suicides" is about five teenage girls in 1970s suburbia who take their lives at a young age. The books focuses on themes like repressed expression, which is what I tried to capture here. The girls would often communicate through mediums besides their own words, including the lyrics from records that they would play through their telephone.
