Southern New Hampshire University Strategic Plan

Client: Southern New Hampshire University
About the Project: The SNHU Strategic Plan was designed to detail the current state of SNHU and the direction it's headed in. It was produced to help employees understand the goals and commitments and rally around the growth and success of the university.
The Challenge: Managing this text-heavy document, which held substantial significance for numerous executive stakeholders, presented a demanding test. I was entrusted with this project within my first few months at SNHU, adding a layer of pressure. During the initial phases, I found myself in direct collaboration with the university's President, making real-time decisions on both design and content. The project involved navigating a multitude of opinions and personalities, while also grappling with the task of translating copious data into visually digestible and comprehensible formats.
Fun Fact: This was one of my first projects after starting my career at SNHU and my first strategic plan. Because of the tight timeline, I had to layout the entire book before I had content. It was written, produced, and printed in under three months. Bonus fun fact: It was used as a case study at Northeastern University and referenced as "the best looking strategic plan" a consultant had ever seen.
My Role: Lead Designer – conceptualization, design & layout, data visualization, copy editing, production
Attributions: Worked closely with strategist/copywriter, project manager, CEO, and senior leaders on content and approvals for the project.
