This is a poster design that I had created for a project
given to me in an intermediate graphic design class taught by Professor Meaghan Dee. The purpose of the project was to mimic the style of a designer that we were given.
At the beginning of the project, the professor put a bunch of names in a hat and made each student draw a name at random. I pulled out a man named Jay Ryan.
I began this project by researching the given artist and what kind of design work they had done or continued to do. After reading a book about Jay Ryan's work known as Animals and Objects In and Out of Water, I was overwhelmed by his whimsical illustrations of animals being shown doing very humanistic activities.
