During the lockdown in March I decided to do some still-life tests using a minimal and improvised equipment in the kitchen of my home. It is fascinating to see how objects that we commonly have near us and we see distractedly every day, and that we maybe throw away and discard all the time, can be interesting and full of quality. The shot was made in the cooking area, a niche sheltered from other light sources; I used a single LED light, an ordinary black cardboard as a background, a Japanese stick to keep the leaf. The camera fixed on the tripod.
