This project is a series of typographical posters inspired by the works and style of designers Hamish Muir and Paul McNeil. The posters display words describing some of MuirMcNeil's design approaches and one of their quotes, "Less is Less". They adopt a mathematic direction in their designs, using systems and programs to generate different typefaces and designs. What is unique about their work is that it challenges the traditional letterform and legibility, but still manages to deliver the message, it also tends to focus more on the experimentation process rather than the end result. The design of the posters reflects the robotic and programmatic approach of MuirMcNeil's works; and the typeface designs were an attempt to represent the geometric and sharp styles generated by the different systems. The color scheme is also inspired from theirs and is based on the digital feel of the designs.
