Overflow in Thailand Shelters

Illustration
Inspired by the article "A Burden of Care Over Seized Exotic Wildlife in Thailand," rescue shelters in Thailand are running out of funding and space. The shelters continue to double in the amount of endangered animals as they rescue more than 46,000 animals. (Thomas Fuller, A Burden of Care Over Seized Exotic Wildlife In Thailand, www.NYTimes.com)

This is inspired by an article about the Hendra Virus. The author described three groups of animals that this virus had killed, but was inquiring where the virus came from. At the end of the article he discovered it stemmed from a tree that bats were sleeping on at night.
This is inspired by an article about plants are using caffeine in their pollen to lure bees back to the same flower. (Plants Use Caffeine to Lure Bees, Scientists Find by James Gorman, www.NYTimes.com)
