Project Overview: Racks Ph Website Development (2014)
Racks is a homegrown casual dining restaurant serving the best ribs in the Philippines. We offer our famous flame-grilled baby ribs as a house specialty. We take great pride in the quality and delicious taste of our ribs.
The process starts when we select the finest pork and beef ribs available. We do our own cutting & trimming to ensure we have the right portion cut. Our ribs are then hickory-smoked in a blend of special herbs and spices for that distinct, rich, smoky flavor. We then grill and finish them by flame broiling to seal in all that goodness. They come out tender, juicy and “falls off the bone.”

My Role in this Project:
Created a competitor analysis.
Provided design studies, wireframes, low and high fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.
Challenges:
The previous Racks website design was obsolete and not enticing.
The previous Racks website was not responsive.
Since the previous Racks website is in HTML, they could not update the website because the company does not have an in-house web developer.
Solution:
To do a complete website revamp to make it look modern, attractive, enticing to the customers and easy navigate.
Create more customer engagement by adding features such as a Newsletter Subscription, Online Reservation and Social Media Links/Feeds.
We used a Wordpress platform with customizable features to make it easy for their employees to update their website without the need for an in-house web developer.
