Illustrations that I did for an interesting story set in the late bronze age Istria called "SVETI MEČ PRAVICE" or "HOLY SWORD OF JUSTICE", written by Tina Rožac.
It's a story about a lost boy Aviko who becomes a chief of two settlements after showing great courage in defeating the evil raiders and a overthrowing a deceitful chieftain. And there's a love story too.
All scenes, clothes and objects had to be historocally accurate.
The book was published as a part of an European Interreg project called "KAŠTELIR". The main objctive of the project is to actively preserve the heritage of the kaštelirji (forts) through its valorisation, protection, revitalization and promotion. Its goal is to rebuild the ancient connection of people with plants in order for it to serve the sustainable cross-border tourism, rural development and sustainable management of the environment.
The book was published in Slovene, Croatian, English and Italian languages.

After constant quarrels between two brothers, gods get angry, destroy their village and brothers build their own villages, with their residents living in an eternal dispute.
In one of the two settlements a future chieftain Aviko is born with a rainbow coloured eye as a sign from gods.
His dad, the chief dies in a fight with a chief from the hostile settlement.
