Howitzer 6'3 hand shaped Surfboard - the Vista Cruiser

After selling the Nautilus - my beloved 6'8 Diamond tailed board, I decided to design and shape my next board.
Here's the birth process of the new Howitzer 6'3 round tail board named the Vista Cruiser.
The design.
a Chunky 6'5 fish blank is the starting point
Tracing the outline onto the blank

Cut out and stage 1 planed.
Smoothing out the plane lines with 80grit sandpaper.
Just my hand.
After planing the deck, I used the surform to smooth everything out on top.
Testing both board size and location of the boardracks that I'm planning for the CB.
Board down to the right thickness and deck shape - time for rails.
Snow in Paarl!? Maybe not.
Rails rolled and board cleaned.
Masked and painted.
The tape taken off - nice crisp graphics.
Signed and ready for glassing.
Decal placement, and fin setup marked out before heading to the glassers
Picking it up from the boardshop - looks good!
The tail bit
The nose bit
And all sorted. Running quad setup with the option to go Twinnie, Thruster or Quad.
Very happy with how it turned out.
