YouTube monetisation (aka PDG) is now being rolled out across Asia and we won the pitch to be a part of this exciting project.
We worked closely with Google to carry out research in Japan and Korea and created the campaign 'Super Together'
that positioned PDG as a tool that makes the YouTube experience more lively and interactive for both fans and creators.

The relationship of creators and fans in Japan is all about contribution and support, as the fans see it as ways
to get together with the creator, with the promise of feeling closer and more involved with the creator's work.
The key focus of the films are to get creators to activate Super Chat and Super Stickers daily
and on festive periods as well as to educate fans on how to use the products.

The relationship of fans and creators in Korea is less about ‘showing love’ and less about a close, personal relationship.
Key appeal for fans in Korea is to communicate and to get a reaction from their creator as they convey gratitude to creators -
focusing more on what’s achievable for viewers: a way to get noticed or share their opinions with creators.
The key focus of the films are to hero Super Chat, own the real-time two way communication
between creators and fans and also focusing on lifestyle and gaming creators.
