Post Mortem is a trilogy of American crime novels. It consists of three separate notorious murder cases that took place on American soil. The name "Post Mortem" references the act of analyzing something that has happened in the past and is closely associated with homicide cases. The concept of the design is to make the covers look like a scene at the morgue with a bird-eye view of medical examiners doing an autopsy of the killers. The general idea of the cover design is to make readers feel like they are going to be an examiner of these cases as an enhancement to the reading experience.
