A WEBSITE FOR INSIEME
Volunteer work

A dynamic website created from research to a high-fidelity prototype for the Italian language school InSieme. Developed through an agile framework, our group consisted of two engineers and me as designer. We worked collaboratively using Jira and GitHub.

My main activities were:

-User research
-Scenarios and personas
-User stories
-Interface design

I also had a minor role in
-CSS of the site and HTML of static pages
-Responsive design with bootstrap
-Populating the database

Project developed for Hypermedia Applications course during the Product-Service System design master at Politecnico di Milano, by Nathalie Ospina, Aida Opirlesc and Lorenzo Amici.

For the same course we carried out a heuristic evaluation for a content rich website.

The course required to develop a content rich website and follow the IDM methodology to map the site, which had to include events, people and services. I proposed to do the site real for the Italian language school I was going to. Since I am passionate for research, I interviewed teachers to understand their needs and kept contact with the coordinators to define the content.

After the interviews, personas and scenarios were created. The scenarios derived into user stories that we set in JIRA to coordinate our work on each part of the interface.

I created XD prototypes for 3 responsive points and the CSS guides for the developers. While the back-end was set up by the developers, I provided support for front-end on coding some of the static pages.
