Proportio is Thomas' bespoke company that cuts tailor-made suits and shirts for us, we had to make a website for Thomas.
This is not a text-oriented website, we had nice pictures (and drawings) and wanted to honour them by displaying them full-screen. Yet we needed a way to browse the website in an elegant and user-friendly manner, that's why we decided to make an app-like website that changes picture by swiping.

Even the content within the screen navigation has to adapt itself. This is not Responsive Web Design this is tailor-made web design.
Of course all the website is driven by a CMS that copes with the different texts, languages, medias and the blog.
The choice of displaying high quality fullsize images on each screen, was a risky choice because we may have to load alot of big images in some sections to keep a smooth swiping experience between pages, it required a lot of optimization and thanks to SPIP CMS, I generate tailor-made images, and store them in server cache.
The server cache has to be huge, but my client-server performances are blazzing.
