a travel guide designed based on the unique personality of vero beach, florida. the island has a variety of local shops, upscale fashion boutiques, and jewellers, retro diners and motels.vero beach is a small city in florida located just north of west palm beach. vero beach has a much lower population, unlike others such as miami, fort lauderdale, leaving many unfamiliar with vero beach as a tropical destination.

the design of the travel guide had to embrace both the modern and retro aspects of vero beach, creating its own identity. with the use of monochromatic colours, duotone photography and contemporary typography, the design highlights the well deserved and colourful personality of vero beach. the goal was to design a guide a tourist and/or resident to have at hand, rather than relying on the internet for information. the book is also designed as a journal, making their travels much more personalized so they can make visits to any of the spots that intrigue them.
