Inktober 2020 (only the 1st cover image is missing but the style was too different), I'll update it for the final book layout...
Time to move from Verdun to Villeray...
A day after our swift ambulance transfer from St-Mary's hospital to the CHUM, severe preeclampsia, helpp syndrome, an emergency c-section and lots of problems later, Lou was born (November 1st 2020). What a scary finale after a perfect pregnancy, now everything is going well. My girlfriend is a warrior and I can not wait to print this book as an homage to their fight!
Challenge completed! When I started this "booktober" project we were expecting a baby. I failed to complete all my previous Inktobers, but this time I wanted to create a special baby artbook especially adapted for a newborn's limited vision.
This means B&W high contrast, simple shapes with only a few colors like yellow and red. I really had no idea where this was going, so it evolved into a sort of chronicle of our life at the time, which will be interesting to look back in 20 years from now :)

I wish y'all a Happy New Year and may all your wishes come true!
