The Gerbermühle is a hotel and restaurant situated on the banks of Frankfurt’s river ‘Main’. With its rich tapestry of history, this hotel is a quintessential part of the city’s heritage.
The Brief
The Gerbermühle wanted a brand identity designed which gave reference to the rich historical significance of the place, but also embraced the modern present. This was achieved by combining traditional periodic paintings with modern minimal type and layout. The juxtaposition between the two created a harmonious and elegant design.
