Infoarena for Unesco Albulatunnel

A playful and entertaining construction site production in Preda documents the large-scale project "New construction of the Albula Tunnel" during the six-year construction period.
The construction activity affects tourist-sensitive areas. For this reason, the Rhaetian Railway wants to use the construction site as an information medium and to promote its image.

The Infoarena Albula Tunnel consistently follows the concept of a tourist experience staging. The staging appeals to different target and interest groups. It gives high priority to the entertainment and guest experience. On the 165-meter-long construction site wall, tourist offers from the region, the Unesco World Heritage Albula-Bernina Railway and the Rhaetian Railway are presented in a variety of ways alongside extensive construction site information.

The concept is based on a large-scale outdoor presentation with a long-distance effect. It is aimed at vacation guests as well as rail passengers. While some tourists only briefly grasp the main information as they pass by on the train, hikers in summer and sledders in winter can explore the tunnel construction site in detail at various interactive stations.
The playful, picture-packed adventure wall wraps up the tunnel construction site with rich themes about the region and the Unesco World Heritage Albula Railway. The content is structured in three levels: an information level, a game level and an in-depth level in the information pavilion. In terms of design, the wall is composed of the Alpine silhouette, oversized representations of the construction work and the corporate identity of the Rhaetian Railway. It flirts with the scenic nature of the Albula railroad line and, with the blow ups, makes a winking reference to the railroad model landscape of Switzerland.
