About the game:
You play as a rogue assassin that must climb the tower of doom before the lava gets him. Run, jump and climb as fast as you can before can collect the gem of lava stopping to stop the lava from killing you.
The first level of this game introduces all of the game mechanics the player is going to need to learn to be able to beat it, as well as start the rising of the lava. After reaching the end of the level a fire portal will appear that will take the player to the next level.
The second level focus on the player jumping and run skills. This level is design to force the player to make quick action while jumping and run through the level. People that have play test the game sometime miss the second to last platform making it hard for people to beat this game.
This level focus is about the platform that move up and down (Darker platform) through the level. The reason we added this platform to the game is to increase the game tension, so that while the player is trying to speed through the level they would have to wait for the platform to come down.
This level goal is for the player to use the wall running they learn earlier in the game and use it to beat the level. We also decide to combine another of the game system the ledge combining. So while you play the game you have to wall run into a ledge climb.
This level unique system is that we implemented a disappearing platform. This is we again , trying to increase the intension of the game by making the player have to make quick decision while running up the level. This level also has a secret why to beat it, where you have to get to the highest point and jump off before the level gets you.
In this last level we place everything that the player has learn from before and and combined it into one level. We push the level to the max as well as the player ability to jump, climb and ledge grab there way to the top to get the ruby.
Design Goal:
My design goal for this game is was to create a level that would test the player skills and my movement code. While creating a fun experience for the player.
