With Edgar Allen Poe's timeless poem "The Raven" I wanted to create this project with the intention of how I interpreted the poem and what it personally meant to me in the moment of working on it. I wanted to create illustrations that evoked the tone of the original poem while simultaneously telling the whole story through it's images. The art style and depictions not only add to the original poem but perhaps allows younger readers to follow and understand the poem just as easily through the art.
