It's All Around You

The San Francisco Bay Area is a special place to me. It’s a place I can call home and it’s a place I can constantly rediscover and share. This project started out as an experiment and quickly consumed my life for 6 weeks. I would find myself doing strange things like waking up hours before the sun would come up just to get the first few hours of a sunrise. I shot over 38 thousand photos and spent hundreds of hours processing and editing the footage. Although very tedious, I found this project to be very rewarding. I visited many of my favorite locations around the Bay Area in an effort to show the hidden rhythms that are all around us and often overlooked in our busy lives. The San Francisco Bay Area is truly one of the most dynamic and beautiful places on this rock and I’m proud to call it home.
