Here is a quick look to the sound design that we did on Mexico for this TV reality show
“RETO 4 ELEMENTOS: NATURALEZA EXTREMA” is a sports and competence reality show de in which 32 celebrities will compete for the power of the 4 nature elements.The warrior who can dominate 4 elements, and win to their rivals, will become the master of elements and will win also a big amount of money.
In terms of sound, with the postproduction team we designed from the logos to every sound and style of the project with the base of the natural elements. On first season, there were 4 tracks to play, each of them special on one of this elements (Water, fire, dirt and air) which we encourage with sound design. Also we were very careful on giving effects that support the story, not only texture for the track was important, but the hero on the story was the key for us to know how epic we should make him sound.
We also had another extra tracks that we really loved, one of them was called " The underworld" which it was always a scary surprise, with animals and danger around, the location was a cave so we had a lot of reverberation all over on the dialogues but also we could play putting some sounds of animals and insects around the stereo mix.
