Having visited the HUNDERTWASSERHAUS MUSEUM in Vienna, I have decided to embody Friedenreich's art in my own vision as my first independent project.
I have created the two posters using the artists' ever-present colors, shapes and view of the world as inspiration.
"Die gerade Linie ist gottlos und unmoralisch" - The straight line is godless and immoral. It becomes clear that the artist lived his life by these words as soon as one admires his work.
"Das ist der Weg zu dir" - This is the way to you. A painting portraying someone driving on an empty highway - the way to reach that one special person.
While the artist's work is a romantic one, I have tried to picture "the way to you" as an enigmatic one, a labyrinth, my own interpretation influenced by personal experiences.
