BMW was looking to optimize the process in which they go about evaluating dealerships both domestically and internationally. They looked to Domo to create a simple mobile solution that would allow quick and easy evaluations.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Create a tablet and smartphone application for BMW regional managers to evaluate and rate dealerships on a variety of different criteria as well as create and submit actions to be taken for improvement and follow up.

DEALER ACTION
Measure, Milestones, & KPIs

Data collection is only one part of a two-part process. The Dealer Action section of the app is the second part of the app which closes the loop and provides dealerships with a way to set measures, milestones, and KPI's that allow them to create action items they can follow up on to improve efficiency at their facilities.


  

LEARNINGS

Before having this mobile app, BMW evaluators were taking handwritten notes using paper notebooks after which they would then have to transfer those notes to an outdated, desktop software system that was difficult to use and limited in its output. We learned that by having a mobile solution accessible at the time of evaluation provided more accurate data collection upon which they could take actions to improve facility performance and behaviors.
