Coquille Recycle Handmade Coconut Shell Craft
In Malaysian cuisine, coconut is very common. Whether it is pastry, beverage or cuisine, Malaysians like to add some coconut to let the dishes become more delicious. According to investigate, Malaysians use between 100 and 200 million coconuts in a year. Whenever people get the pulp and juice from coconut, the coconut shell is often discarded. After years of accumulation, the existence of coconut shells is bound to cause some damage to the environment. Through this assignment, I want to use coconut shell to make another product to make an useless item our everyday item. The reason why I choose to make a soap dish is because in our reality, most soap dish are made of plastic, so instead of using plastic soap boxes, I want to use coconut shells instead of plastic in creative ways.
