To celebrate the launch of Android KitKat, the latest version of the Android operating system, Android approached B-Reel to help them create a digital experience to accompany the announcement. We thought it would be a great time to look back on the history of Android and all the tasty developments along the way.
Each new version is named after a different dessert. This naming system was started by the Android developers and has become a uniquely Android tradition. We wanted to celebrate how far the platform has come by creating a site that highlights each dessert along with it’s contribution to the development of the operating system.
