This project was a lot of fun to work on. I wanted to do a take on "the family tree". I photographed my family members, getting close up on the eyes. We all have blue eyes and I knew I wanted to use cyanotype, so it paired well. I decided to print on wood because I have always loved woodworking, and it worked as a play on the word "tree". The printing process took some trial and error, but when I finally succeeded I was in love with the results.
