Cover art connects me directly to music. I like to visualize tracks / releases / sets the way I see and feel them. This is how the rebellious Medusa Gorgon looks to me. And so the moment is preserved. 3 years ago or 5 years later I would have done everything differently, but I don’t regret it. This is a separate thrill. Here and now.
I don't have a specific style that I follow. Each task has its own solution. Most of the time I create covers using illustrations, but in the last year I have enjoyed working with unusual materials and mixing everything. Therefore, various trash is accumulated at home, which is spread out in a heap of different bags. You never know what will come in handy today.
I knew in advance the concept of the nazlo album, but the name of the release was not immediately chosen. Suspecting that it would be something provocative, I decided to make a font out of foil, just in case. It seemed to me that through this material it would be possible to immerse the viewer in something truly mythical and unusual, with tentacles in all directions. Not without an acid puddle in sparkles. And as a result, I processed the letters so that there was almost no trace of the foil, but this is no longer so important. In the process, things often change. The main thing is to catch the right vibe and follow the sensations.
