The Design Brief: Go Gelato is, as you guess, an Italian gelato store. Young, trendy, fun, fresh and eye-catching are some of the words the company uses to describe its market appeal. The ice-creams are all handmade using a family recipes; but unlike small family owned ice-cream parlors, Go Gelato is a more up-market and sophisticated ‘ice-cream bar’ that attracts ice-cream connoisseurs from across the city. Targeting a young and upwardly mobile audience (16-30 years) primarily, the store hopes to generate more interest and business through an online presence. They want a login area in their website that offers their patrons special discounts, invitations to Gelato Sampling, Gelato Making and other fun events. Other than that, they also want to start selling some of their products online, so the webpage will have a link directing you to their store.
