Rebrand (personal project)

this is a personal project and not the official logo for the Tennessee Smokies.
The Story:
A coworker came up with a challenge for all designer at my current job who wanted to participate; that challenge was to take an existing minor league baseball team and recreate/rebrand their logo. Everyone drew a teams from a hat and I got the Tennessee Smokies. The following images are what I came up with.
