I Wish I Could Remember (Ojalá Me Acuerde) is book about the fear of forgetting. It started after a series unfortunate events, from loss, grieving and living abroad. I fear the world I left behind in Colombia is fading away.
It is a collection of drawings and lists of memories about my life in Colombia, my family, my everyday life and all those little details I miss from home; a constellation of people, spaces, objects and anecdotes from my own Domestic Universe.
I hope one day, when I revisit this book, these drawings and these words, it will help my future self... remember.
