This lamp was made for a contest named “Redesign”, organized by the portuguese companies “Worten” and “Redi”.
This contest was made, so that young designers could develop their own product and work side by side with real enterprises.

Ideation
As seen above, after a vast variety of concepts, the product begins to find its shape.
With the Fibonacci sequence as the main inspiration, I focused myself on the mathematical spiral usually used to explain it (light blue sketch in the image above), what later brought me to the final design.

Final Product

The final lamp design rises from the idea of creating something practical but modern, that could be not only a lamp, but also an object you would like to have at your own living room.
