I spent my formative years in North Dakota in my entire life in the upper Midwest. It's a place that I find beautiful beyond words. The vast plains of the Midwest are not a featureless wasteland but hold complex beauty that is discovered by only looking closely.

One of my favorite ways to take photographs is by creating multiple exposure images over an entire roll of film. This method allows the viewer to see the journey of how the photograph is created. Each image blends into the next and becomes a whole that is larger than its parts. 

This project was done in 2009 and I am itching to get back to my home state and continue this work.
