For our business cards we use two thick papers (330 g each), one white and one black. Both papers are printed with silskreen in order to diplay vivid colors. The white paper bears our logo in hydrophobic varnish. This makes it look more shiny than the surrounding paper.
Some of the cards have been painted with aquarelle or ecoline. These colors are water-based so when we paint the cards the colors cannot penetrate the logo but only the surroundings producing the effect that you see on the images.
