Himba Tribes of Nothern Namibia

Photography

In late December 2012 a client approached me regarding a lifelong dream of mine; To photograph the Himba Tribes of Northern Namibia.
A few months later, Joel and I set off on the six-week +10 000km adventure in my faithful old Landy, packed to the brim with supplies, gin, tonic and camera equipment.

For those of you who followed the adventure here, at last, are the results. None of which would have been possible without; Mr and Mrs Anker, Joel Schmiedeke, Marciello Sangiorgio, Karen Hanson, Kenamajo our translator and, of course, Miss T Effting for holding the fort back in the Cape. A Huge thank you guys!

If you didn’t see the pictures from the trip, you can check them out here.
